How Do I Know If I Have A Lemon?

By law, in most states, a vehicle is deemed a lemon when:

  1. The vehicle has been in the shop for more than 30 days, adding the total amount of time in the shop for the same repair issue.
  2. The vehicle has been repaired on 3 or more separate occasions, for any reason, during the manufacturer’s warranty period.
  3. You have attempted to repair the same issue at least 3 times without any success.
  4. If the dealer refuses to repair or vehicle is destroyed you also may have a valid lemon. If you don’t fall into any of these 4 categories but still feel you have a lemon, reach out to our attorneys and we will tell you how we can help. Call us at +1(818) 254-8413.
